Questions
Is the hair check a diagnosis?
No. It describes what is visible in your photos and what that pattern often goes with. Finding the cause of hair loss takes a clinician who examines you, and sometimes blood tests.
How much does a hair check cost?
One check is $4.99, a pack of 3 checks is $9.99 (use them within 90 days), and a 3-day trial is $2.99, then $9.99 per week until you cancel. You see the price before you pay.
What happens to my photos?
Nothing is sent until you tick the consent box. The photos then go to our AI provider to produce your read. We do not use them for advertising and you can ask us to delete them.
Which photos work best?
Two photos in daylight with dry, unstyled hair: your usual part from straight above, and your crown from above and a little behind. Use the same spot and light when you check again.
When should I see a dermatologist instead?
Round, smooth bald patches, scarring or shiny skin where hair used to be, an itchy, scaly or sore scalp, or shedding that has gone on for more than 6 months all need an in-person exam.
Veda is not a medical device and does not diagnose.
